Applying to the Graduate Program in Biology at Texas A&M University

Deadline for applications is January 15. We will continue to evaluate applications after this date; however, early applications receive priority.

1) Submit the on-line Texas Common Application.

2) A Statement of Purpose should be submitted as part of the on-line application. The statement of purpose should explain why you want to pursue graduate studies, why you are applying to our department, your research interests, and a description of your previous research experience.

3) Transcripts should be sent directly to the Biology Dept. Graduate Advising Office.

4) Have 3 letters of recommendation along with the Graduate Letter of Recommendation Form sent directly to the Biology Dept. Graduate Advising Office

5) Have GRE and TOEFL scores (for international applicants) sent to the Texas A&M Office of Admissions and Records.
