Annual Retreat

Every year the Biology department sponsors an annual retreat, normally held early in the fall semester, at which faculty and graduate students are allowed to present their research. The meeting offers students, faculty and researchers the opportunity to interact in an informal setting with their colleagues and discuss common issues and emerging themes in Biology. The retreat also offers incoming graduate students an opportunity to learn about current research in many different labs, discuss their long-term goals with faculty members and advanced graduate students, and to identify possible labs for doing their rotations.
