RESEARCH INTERESTS:

My previous research experience consisted of seahorse and pipefish population dynamics in Tampa Bay. The research focused on syngnathid population and reproductive trends and also tracked movement patterns within the populations. I am currently interested in population genetics of syngnathids and the evolution of the brood pouch and unique morphology as compared to other teleosts.
