Training
We are required by AAALAC and ULACC to train all persons, including faculty, staff, graduate students, student workers, and 491 students, working with the animals or in the animal rooms. This includes training in animal care and use regulations, safety, emergency procedures, and occupational health. Each person must fill out an Animal Contact Questionnaire before beginning animal work. BioAquatics Animal Care Training as well as General and Specific Safety Trainig must be completed before beginning work in the facility.
