Dr. Carl Johnson - The Carl Johnson Laboratory (Vanderbilt) Research in this laboratory is directed towards understanding the cellular and molecular bases of biological rhythms in a variety of organisms: cyanobacteria ("blue-green algae"), eukaryotic algae, higher plants, and animals.
PRC Atlas (C.Johnson Laboratory) A Phase Response Curve (PRC) is a plot of phase-shifts as a function of circadian phase of a stimulus such as light pulses, temperature pulses, or pulses of drugs or chemicals. The PRC Atlas is a collection of hundreds of published and unpublished PRCs.
Dr. Steve A. Kay - Dr. Kay focuses on the study of the circadian biology of a wide range of organisms, from humans to fruit flies to plants.
Dr. Andrew Millar - University of Edinburgh This laboratory's current research aims to understand how the circadian clock is constructed and adjusted, how it affects plant life and how the clock is evolving. Most of their research is on a small plant called Arabidopsis .
Dr. Michael Young - Rockefeller University Research in this laboratory focuses on mutations in seven genes that have strong effects on circadian (~24 hour) locomotor activity rhythms of Drosophila fruit flies.
