    *Why I Joined: I joined the Microbiology Society: because I was interested in
many of the topics the speakers talked about. Also, it's a great opportunity
to reach out to the science community in helping out in many of the programs
set up for local schools and community affairs concerning the world of
science.
    *Something Interesting About Myself: Really to be honest, it would take pages
and pages to fill this subject. I guess something interesting is that I love
to go fishing, camping, and listening to all kinds of music.  A fun fact
about myself is one I participated in a play in elementary school called
Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs...I played a cat even though I really never
heard of a cat in the actual story.

   *Why you joined the Microbiology Society: I had just changed majors from genetics to micro and
Dr. Moyes mention it in class last year, so I decided to join.
   *Something Interesting about yourself: I was born in Peru and travel back every couple of years to visit.
I am actually traveling this December so if anyone wants anything from Peru, let me know ;)

    *Major: Biology
    *Year: I'm the Proudest member of the fighting Texas Aggie Class of 2007! WHOOP!  (that would mean I'm a senior!)
    *Why you joined the Microbiology Society: Because I'm really interested in Microbiology and it's fun!!
    *Something interesting about yourself: I love music, scrapbooking and I volunteer at the Brazos Valley Rehab Center in Bryan!

    *Why you joined the Microbiology Society: I have a strong interest in the
micro field and I wanted to learn more about the subject and the best ways
to further my career opportunities.
    *Something Interesting about yourself: I'm half-egyptian/half-english

    *Why you joined the microbiology society: To be more involved and to meet
other Microbiology majors.
    *Something interesting about yourself: I grew up about an hour away from
South Padre Island, so I have always loved going fishing or just being at
the beach.
