This course deals with the important plants of the world, their development,  and their uses.  The course focuses on the flowering plants and the evolutionary/cultural dynamics of angiosperm evolution under human selection.  It is taught from a systematic perspective in that recognition of economically important taxa is a primary objective.

BOTN 328 is a 3 credit hour course (2 hours of lecture and 1 hour of lab) requiring Introductory Botany (BOTN 101) or Biology (BIOL 113/114) or approval of the instructor.
