Departmental HP 4550 network printer setup

1. Open System Preferences.


2. Click on Print & Fax.

   



3. In the Click Print & Fax window, click the plus sign, .


4. Click IP Printer in the Printer Browser window


5. Select HP Jet Direct - Socket in the Protocol field.
   
   Enter 165.91.109.182 into the Address field.
   
   Leave the Queue field blank.
   
   Type DEPARTMENTAL 4550 into the Name field.
   
   Enter a Location if you with.
   
   Select HP from the list under Print Using .
   
   Choose HP Color LaserJet 4550 v3010.107 from the Model list.
   
   When completed the Printer Browser window should look like the image below.
   
   



6. Click Add.


7. Click Continue when the Installable Options windows opens.


8. Close the Print & Fax window.
